THE SKIPPER
I’m Julio, and for as long as I can remember, the sea has felt like home. I grew up surrounded by boats at Palma Yacht Club, spending my days among the moorings, paddling and setting off on spontaneous adventures that eventually became a way of life.
As a child, I explored the Mallorcan coastline time and again, discovering hidden coves, learning to read the wind and dreaming of one day making the sea my life.
That dream eventually became my career.
With more than 20 years of sailing experience—including captaining large yachts in destinations such as the Caribbean, Greece, Croatia and Italy—I eventually felt it was time to return to my roots. Coming back to the Mediterranean wasn’t simply a decision; it was a return to what has always made me happiest.
Today, at the helm of Aquila, I sail these waters with the same enthusiasm I had as a child. My aim is to share that passion with everyone who comes aboard, inviting you to experience the serenity of the sea, the beauty of Mallorca’s coastline and the magic of sailing at a leisurely pace.
